Announcing the Laura Bishop Communications Internship with the Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication

Laura Bishop Headshot

The Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication proudly welcomes the new Laura Bishop Communications Internship to support student interns with the Center. "It just feels so 'right' to support student interns at the Center," shares Laura Bishop.

Bishop launched Laura Bishop Communications in 2011 with a handful of clients and a strong work ethic. "My internship with Sunoco after graduating from Rutgers in 1981 opened the doors to a whole new world and changed my career trajectory," she shares. "I hope the Laura Bishop Communications internship, with Julie's guidance and mentorship, will do the same for many bright communication professionals on the brink of promising careers."

As a proud supporter of Edelman CCCA, Bishop serves on the Edelman CCCA advisory board and on the Center’s Leadership Council. She also spoke to students with the Center in January 2021.
