Edelman Scholars
Beginning in Fall 2023, a newly redesigned version of the Edelman Scholars program will transform the lives of majors within the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts. In addition to tuition and housing funding for four years, the program provides support services, community-building, and experiential learning opportunities to foster lifelong success and holistic wellbeing for Edelman CCCA students.
The Edelman Scholars program is distinct from virtually every scholarship program in the United States in that it also provides a significant monetary award to incentivize timely graduation and to position students for a successful launch into post-graduate life.
Starting in Fall 2023, students selected as Edelman Scholars will receive:
- Substantial scholarship aid toward the full cost of attendance (tuition, books, fees, board/meals)
- On-campus housing
- Internship, work study, and community service opportunities
- Professional development support
- Participation in Edelman Scholars peer-mentoring program
- Post-graduation Launch Funds
Eligibility and selection process
- Available to incoming first-year students who have been accepted to Rowan University with a major in Edelman CCCA
- Eligibility determined by financial need based on FAFSA and other data provided to the University
- Eligible students will be invited to submit an application and brief essay
- Finalists will be required to interview with the Edelman Scholars Selection Committee
Students will be invited to apply in March and awards will be announced by April 30th.

Thanks to the $10 million endowment by Ric and Jean Edelman for student scholarships, we are pleased to support the students below as our inaugural two classes of Edelman Scholars. These students were chosen based on the potential they demonstrate to contribute meaningfully to our college, and the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts is proud to support these students in their academic careers and professional development.
