Edelman CCCA Scholarships
Edelman Scholars
The Edelman Scholars program is designed to transform the lives of students who otherwise may not attend or graduate from college. The program provides support services, community-building, and experiential learning opportunities to foster lifelong success for majors within the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts.
Unlike any other scholarship in the United States, the Edelman Scholars program also provides a $17,000 award upon timely graduation from Edelman CCCA to help launch students into post-graduate life.
As an Edelman Scholar you will receive:
- Substantial scholarship aid toward the full cost of attendance (tuition, books, fees, board/meals)
- Year-round, on-campus housing
- Wrap-around support via Rowan’s student support services
- Internship, work study, and community service opportunities
- Professional development support
- Participation in Edelman Scholars peer-mentoring program
- Social events to foster connections within the Rowan community
- Post-graduation Launch Funds

The August Bagin - Richard Ambacher, Sr. Memorial Scholarships
This $1500 scholarship is awarded to one incoming freshman in the Ric Edelman College of Communication and Creative Arts. Eligible students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and will be invited to submit a 250-300 word essay to be considered for this award.

The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Scholarship
The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Scholarship
Each year, the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia award scholarships to area Delaware Valley college students majoring in Communication. For more information, visit their website.
The David Cromie Communication Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of David Cromie, former professor and chair of the College of Communication. A scholarship of $650 per year is awarded to one incoming freshman or transfer student in the Ric Edelman College of Communication and Creative Arts. Eligible students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and will be invited to submit a 250-300 word essay to be considered for this award.

The Photography Scholarship
Students who are enrolled in either the Minor in Photography or BFA in Art, Concentration in Photography program by December 21, 2021 are invited to apply for a $1,000 per semester ($2,000/year) scholarship renewable for up to three and a half years. Up to three students will be awarded scholarships for Spring 2022.

The Stephanie George Lenchinsky and William Lenchinsky Endowed Scholarship Fund
Scholarship will first be awarded in the 2023-24 academic year. Scholarship awarded to students with the most demonstrated financial need who are enrolled in a Writing Arts program with a dual major in Education. The recipients will be chosen by the Writing Arts Committee.

describing overcoming diversity in his/her life, as well as the importance of diversity in media coverage of marginalized communities. The recipient is selected by the Journalism department.

How To Apply
University scholarships are available to students through Scholarship Universe. The University Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to Rowan University Students on the basis of academic excellence, financial need, and participation in on-campus and off-campus activities.
