Biography
Associate Dean Butler oversees academic and faculty processes for the college. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University, a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University, and has been a professor of political science at Rowan since 2001.
- Faculty affairs, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures for personnel matters
- Oversees faculty load adjustments
- Manages STORI and Mercier funding applications
- Provides data support for the College
- Supports Chairs on departmental administrative matters
- Course scheduling, including initial and changes
- Reviews requests for Independent Studies
- Manages the College curriculum process
- Oversees university catalog updates
- Building/space concerns
