Jude Miller has been teaching in Rowan University's Writing Arts Department since 2009. He primarily teaches courses in the First-Year Writing sequence, as well as Sophomore Engineering Clinic. He serves as the Coordinator of the First-Year Writing Program, in addition to serving on the steering committee for the New Jersey Writing Alliance, a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that holds an annual conference for writing teachers across NJ. He has also served as an elected officer in the Conference on College Composition and Communication's Online Writing Instruction Standing Group. In 2017, he received Rowan’s College of Communication and Creative Arts Excellence in Service Award, and in 2019 he was the recipient of a Rowan grant to replace required textbooks in FYW courses with free, online Open Educational Resources.
