Biography

Derek Jones is the Station Manager at Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM - Rowan University’s award-winning campus radio station. Also, he teaches a sports broadcasting course at Rowan. Elsewhere, Jones is a college basketball and college baseball broadcaster for ESPN and the radio/TV play-by-play voice of Princeton University men’s basketball. His sports broadcasting work has also appeared on ACC Network, SEC Network, and NBC Sports Philadelphia. Jones graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film and a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations.
