Biography

Professor Woodell has been an adjunct professor at Rowan since 1999. She is a Glassboro State College graduate and has been a journalist for nearly 50 years, including stops at Today's Sunbeam in Salem, N.J., the Gloucester County Times in Woodbury, N.J., and the Bucks County Courier Times in Levittown, Pa. She recently retired from the Philadelphia Daily News and Inquirer, where she worked on the sports copy desk for nearly 30 years as a copy editor, page designer and web content producer. She also edited content and laid out the editorial pages for the Daily News' editorial section.
