Carol Schottenfeld is a printmaker and mixed media artist. She currently teaches printmaking and foundation at Rowan University, where she strives to open the world of printmaking to as many students as she can. Her own work focuses on the use of printmaking in combination with other artistic media, drawing sources from the natural world and from figure studies that represent issues of depression, humanity, and the magnificent intricacy of creation.
