Biography

Alex Yoh began teaching at Rowan University in 2022, when he developed a new course within the Sports Communication and Media Program, Inside the Front Office. Yoh is the Vice President of Business Operations for the Delaware Blue Coats, NBA G League Affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, at Chase Fieldhouse in Wilmington, Delaware.

He has worked for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) for more than a decade, and has held various roles, beginning as Public Relations Coordinator for the 76ers in 2014. Yoh, along with Rowan University colleague Neil Hartman, oversee the Blue Coats Academy program at Chase Fieldhouse, where dozens of Rowan students each year gain real-world sports industry experience working professional basketball games. Yoh previously worked in marketing and communications roles for Marquette University and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is a graduate of Emerson College, where he earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and played for the men’s basketball team. Later, he earned his M.A. in Sports Leadership from Marquette. Yoh previously taught in the sports management program at Wilmington University.
