"Introducing" High School Photography Contest

The Rowan University photography program in the department of Radio, TV & Film is excited to announce our first-ever high school photography contest, Introducing, created to highlight emerging photographic talent among high school students. Selected photographs and honorable mentions will be featured in our inaugural photography magazine, Introducing. All selected photographs will also be showcased in the online edition of Introducing. Additionally, five students will have their work exhibited in Rowan University's stARTup Gallery from June 1, 2025 - April 1, 2026

All current high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible. The contest is FREE to enter. All genres of photography are welcome.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submit up to 5 digital photographs via google forms link.

• Entries must be original work by the student photographer.

• Submission Deadline: Friday, April 25, 2025

• Winners Announced: May 15, 2025

RULES OF ENTRY:

• The artist must be a high school student in the United States.
• Applicants may upload up to 5 images (jpg). 
• Each student artist must ensure they have obtained all necessary releases from models and other subjects featured in their photographs.
• Artists agree to allow Rowan University Photography Department to use submitted images for promotional materials. Accepted artists may be asked to provide a higher-resolution file than originally submitted.
• Submission of an entry to this competition implies acknowledgment that entrant data is available to the university and acceptance of all terms stated here.
