I enjoy creating illustrations because I love narrative.

I love images that imply a larger story.

Most of all, I love irony and cynical humor.

That's the premise of Bubblegum Glass…taking cynical humor and wrapping it in a layer of bright and inviting color.

Whether it's a fisherman oblivious to his place in the food chain, a mystic Amazonian shaman forced to live in a trailer in the woods of Ohio, or something sinister hiding in a Halloween mask, I’ve always had an appreciation for illustrations with a story to tell.

That’s the purpose of the paintings featured in Bubblegum Glass.

I enjoy creating illustrations that entertain me. I hope they entertain the viewer as well.
