Health and Science Communication Club

The Health and Science Communication (HSC) Club provides an avenue for students interested in health and science communication (i.e., message development and design) to make connections with one another.

The club facilitates opportunities for students to grow their knowledge and expand their interests while working on projects that benefit the broader community.

The objectives of the club are:

  1. To raise awareness of health and science communication throughout Rowan University’s campus.
  2. To further develop relationships between students interested in health and science communication.
  3. To further develop relationships between students and faculty interested in health science communication.
  4. To provide a forum to discuss health and science communication research and projects
  5. To help students become more aware of what kind of careers and job opportunities they can pursue after graduation, as well as what kind of internships would be most helpful.

Membership in the HSC Club is open to Rowan University students who are currently enrolled, with good academic standing, and who have an interest in health and science communication.

Students who are interested in becoming a part of the HSC Club should contact the organization's faculty advisor, Miles Coleman (colemanm@rowan.edu).
